Pre and Post Cosmetic Procedure Medication Schedule

Before Your Procedure

Two Weeks Prior

• Discontinue: Aspirin, NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen)
• Avoid: Vitamin E supplements
• Avoid: Fish oil and omega-3 supplements
• Notify your provider about any prescription blood thinners

One Week Prior

• Discontinue: St. John's Wort
• Avoid: Alcohol consumption
• Start: Arnica montana supplements (if recommended)

24 Hours Before

• Take: Any prescribed antibiotics as directed
• Take: Anti-viral medication (if prescribed for lip procedures)

Day of Procedure

• Continue: Regular blood pressure medications
• Continue: Any prescribed antibiotics
• Avoid: Caffeine

After Your Procedure

First 24 Hours

• Take: Tylenol (acetaminophen) as needed for discomfort
• Apply: Ice packs as directed
• Continue: Antibiotics if prescribed

Days 2-7

• Continue: Avoiding blood thinners
• Continue: Prescribed medications
• Start: Vitamin K cream (if recommended)

After One Week

• Resume: Regular medications as directed by your provider
• Resume: Normal supplement routine
