Morning Medications

Before Breakfast (on empty stomach)

  • Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI): Take 30-60 minutes before first meal

  • H2 Blocker (if prescribed): Take 30 minutes before evening meal
    • Examples: Famotidine, Ranitidine
    • Time: : PM

Important Notes

  1. Timing Matters

    • Take PPIs consistently at the same time each day
    • Maintain 2-hour spacing between PPIs and H2 blockers
  2. Medication Interactions

    • Avoid antacids within 2 hours of taking PPIs
    • Check with your doctor about interactions with other medications
  3. Duration
